Developing Grassroots Football in Kysa FC, Zambia

Street Footie Net is proud to help develop grassroots football around the globe. We worked together with Kysa FC of the Zambian Super League to strengthen their foundation of creating a better training environment for their players and coaching staff.

The club sent us photos of their senior players trying on their new training kits. We wish Kysa FC good luck in the rest of the season and in the coming season where the team is expected to enter a transition phase.

Kysa FC are a Zambian Super League football club based in Kabwe. The club was founded in 2015 and quickly rose in ranks to get promoted to the Zambian Super League in 2019. The club plays at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium which can host up to 10,000 fans.

Kysa FC is built on the heritage of youth development and giving young players a chance on the field and beyond.

"We promote young talent but also fuse in a few experienced players to help give the boys direction and guidance."

Among the exciting prospects playing for Kysa FC is Zambian U23 first-choice keeper Patrick Chooma. At just 19, Chooma became the second-choice goalkeeper for the Zambian national team and is set to represent the country in the U23 African Cup of Nations.
